Still waiting

Referrals from China are being sent in the next few days. Families in the group ahead of us will receive the picture of their new daughter or son. There was a chance that we could have been included in this latest group but our agency informed us to expect to receive our referral towards the end of July. We are slightly disappointed but trust in God's timing. Our little girl is not in this group and will be in the next group. We will enjoy the extra month to prepare our home and be as prepared as possible. We will spend our time finishing our basement. Jennifer's dad and mom came over for a few days to help us lay tile in our basement bathroom and begin work on a suspended ceiling. We still have a lot to do to finish it. Continue to pray with us for our daugther, Lily Kate. We are praying that she will be loved and cherished by Chinese workers and family members. And finally, next month, we will get a picture and see for the first time the face of our daughter.
