If not, don't feel so bad...we just got back their DNA tests...MONOZYGOTIC (identical twins)! Of course, we had a few clues...

The first half of our first family vacation...

The morning after we arrived...fever and mouth ulcers. The girls got a virus that made them not eat for 4 days. Here they are being good sports as I try to salvage a day at the beach. You can see that it isn't working.













This is how we got liquid into them to make it through. They couldn't sleep and wanted to be held 100% of the time. We were EXHAUSTED! The girls are still not back sleeping through the night since then (6 weeks later). It was the most difficult month so far.

What is Lily like?

This is Lily's sweet smile. It is precious!















She loves to read. She likes to sign as she reads.















She is "her sister's keeper." Always giving Kate a hand (whether she wants it or not.)















She has an agenda. The scary part is that she knows how to accomplish it!














She's a mommy's girl.




















There's, oh, just a wee bit of passion in her soul. Here she is "choo-chooing" like a train.















She watches closely and doesn't miss a thing.















She has a gregarious belly laugh!

What is Kate like?

This is her signature smile. It is scrumptious!




















She loves her Doggybear so much that you can't help but love him, too.















She likes to twirl and dance.















She is very ticklish (esp on her thighs).














She loves playing peek-a-boo and hide-n-seek.















She loves all animals (even though she is mostly scared of live ones).

She likes to play tricks and loves to play with Daddy.

Our first Easter together

Lily really understood the concept of hunting Easter eggs.














Kate had more important things to do.














The Easter bunny came to visit. Mommy got to meet him. According to her, he is really cute and much taller than she had imagined.














Granddaddy and Mammaw came to go to church with us. Both of the girls learned to say Mammaw today and Granddaddy got lots of smiles and kisses.

Silly summer days are coming!

We are 18 months old today...let the tantrums begin!
